The partnership of schools led by Ashmead ITT all share a common aim, to provide outstanding service for their communities. Aylesbury and the surrounding area has a growing population, and with that are increased staffing requirements and clear opportunities for those with a desire to teach. We have adopted a 'grow your own' philosophy; committed to developing the next generation of outstanding teachers for our communities through the delivery of exemplar support and provision. We have collectively made a long term commitment to those we train, a commitment to support them through not only their initial training, but their extended careers. We are proud to celebrate 100% of our graduate trainees gaining employment, with many remaining within the local area.
Undertaking Initial Teacher Training with Ashmead ITT was the best decision I have made in my time in education. From the start of the process at the interview stage, right up until the very last day in June, the support has been incredible. The observations provided meaningful and constructive feedback that was couched in positive comments, so it was easy to make changes to practice immediately. The expectations are high, as you would expect, but whenever and whatever support you need to get through, the whole team of Training Managers were there to help. A year like no other, but I can’t recommend this training provider highly enough – a fantastic training year! Thank you, Ashmead ITT.
